Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Current unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse licensure

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:-

BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

WORK EXPERIENCE:-
Minimum:

3 years clinical nursing experience

Prior teaching experience in nursing education med surg, critical care, and/or psych, maternity.

5 years experience as an RN.

2 years experience in a leadership role with demonstrated effectiveness.
