Full-Time Onsite Position

Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work onsite at various locations, contributing to our client's commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation.
• Obtain appropriate patient clinical information from requesting physicians and services.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment before and after procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Meet physical requirements for conducting diagnostic sonography studies.
• Conduct self-critique of exams, identifying areas for improvement.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various ultrasound procedures, including OB, thyroid, transplant kidney, and liver.
• Maintain ARDMS credentials and stay updated with industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program.
• ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
• Previous experience in pediatrics and hospital settings preferred.
• Proficiency in OB, thyroid, transplant kidney, liver, pancreas, and sterile ultrasound procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and schedules.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $157,602.00 - $195,917.00 per year
