Assoc. Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. - Drafting correspondence.
- Motion practice, including attendance at hearings.
- Taking depositions.
- Efile/Eserve legal documents and discovery.
- Communicate and respond to clients’ questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintaining hard and electronic files for each client.
Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Jurisprudence
- Licensed and Eligible to Practice in Texas; additional states are a plus.
- 0-4 years of work experience
- Willingness to Travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
