  • Mannor Law Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our growing team as a Legal Support Specicalist for our new Brighton location. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in launching our new office while gaining valuable legal experience.

    About the Position:

    You will be the first point of contact for clients at our Brighton office, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive first impression. In addition to administrative duties, you will work closely with attorneys, assisting with drafting legal documents such as trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, and care contracts. This position requires a blend of strong communication and legal skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Administrative:
    • Greet clients and visitors professionally.
    • Answer phones, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately.
    • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and prepare meeting materials.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the firm's database.
    • Process legal documents, including filing, copying, and scanning.
    • Order office supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Legal Assistant:
    • Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, including trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, and care contracts.
    • Assist with client intake procedures, gathering essential information and documentation.
    • Prepare correspondence, letters, and other legal documents.
    • General:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive client experience.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and confidentiality.
    • Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, legal assistant, or similar position
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, data entry, and accuracy.
    • Proficient in computer skills and learning new software
    • Familiarity with estate planning terminology and concepts preferred, but not required (we will train the right person)
    • Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.

    Training:

    Initial training will be conducted at our Grand Blanc location, with the primary position being located in our new Brighton office.
