The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Lipscomb University has the primary responsibility for the instruction of students majoring in biochemistry and chemistry as well as the preparation of students for health care fields and engineering. The department has been approved by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society since 1971. Background in Physical Chemistry is preferred but well-qualified individuals in any area of chemistry will be considered. Candidates will be expected to have served as graduate teaching assistants, with undergraduate teaching experience as a beneficial addition.
