Assoc. Professor - Mechanical Engineering jobs in Paramus, NJ

• Permanent position for a Field Engineer to perform mechanical / machine tear down, build/rebuild and repair, pre-commissioning testing and procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Responsible for planning and executing mechanical service sales and service marketing programs for mechanical process equipment, including agitators, mixers, millers, etc.
• Responsible for all customer-related aspects from service on site, assembly and repair.
• Work on maintenance, inspection, and operations of existing equipment to achieve reliable operations.
• Act as a trusted mechanical service technician / advisor to customers and their technical staff.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time performing field duties.
• Assist with new machine builds in the shop and in-house repairs.

• BS Engineering preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field service work for mechanical equipment, including testing and repair.
• Experience performing new machine builds, tear downs, re-builds.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software (Salesforce).
• Ability to travel in North America 40-50% of the time.
