Responsibilities:
Gathering medication information: quantity, diagnosis, dosages, directions
Gathering patients current insurance information
Ensure accuracy of forms and clinical questions per insurance company
Obtain authorizations for certain outpatient procedures out of office.
Call patients and communicate status of prior authorizations, including if the authorization denied.
