Professor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Music typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Private Music Teacher
Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required as long as you have a strong musical background and experience working with children.
Hours are flexible and based around your desired schedule. Lessons are taught in student's homes only.
Have another job? No problem! Over half of our teacher base have full-time jobs and teach part-time after work or on the weekends.
Must be located in or near the (the areas you serve) and be at least 18 years of age to apply. *Ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus. Hourly rate is dependent on experience and education.
