Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Nursing provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Job Description- Assist residents to meet their daily needs, including personal care and meal assistance
- Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a smile and positive attitude
- Report changes in condition to nursing staff, ensure proper documentation as needed
- Serve as an advocate for your residents and a leader for your team
- Be knowledgeable in the survey process and best practices
- Travel with resident to doctor appointments
Qualification- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from the State of Iowa
