Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.     What we treat.

     

    Our patient population primarily consists of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. We carry a blended non-surgical and post-operative caseload with a great mix of sport-specific rehab as well as joint and spine management. Additionally, we provide services for patients with neurologic, dizziness, and balance issues.

    We maintain an appropriate caseload and understand how valuable time is with patients so they can receive the best care available. 

     

    We come alongside our therapists during their professional growth journey, offering specialty certifications and individualized professional development.

    License & Experience

     

    Requirements for this position include the following: 

    • Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy program 

    • Active or pending state physical therapist license
