  • Portsmouth, NH FULL_TIME
  • Creative Opportunity for a PTA who enjoys all facets of a busy, high performing
    Physical Therapy practice!

We're seeking a highly motivated PTA- physical therapist assistant who is not afraid to "roll up their sleeves" and jump in to help when demand is at it's highest.

    About the Company:
CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates is not your typical physical therapy or health care office. We specialize in helping people stay active, healthy and mobile - without pain pills or procedures - so they can do the activities they love instead of sitting in the doctor's office. We use physical therapy and Pilates to empower people through movement, so they feel more confident in their bodies and with trying new things!
We are also completely cash-based and do not contract with any insurance companies. This means a lot of things for you when it comes to how you get to work with your patients.

    You get to:
    • Support our full time PT's by assisting with clients and learning from their complex cases
    • Perform Shockwave therapy treatments on clients in a variable daily schedule (training provided)
    • Receive on-the-job Pilates teacher training and assist our Director of Pilates in teaching Pilates classes and specialized Pilates programs for select populations.
    • Learn and support the front office team with scheduling and future pacing of client needs.
    • See a reasonable caseload of 6-8 patients per day (pending successful 6-mos training program with one of our specialists)
    • Have one-on-one mentorship and training meetings every week - no matter your experience or skill level
    • Nurture your competitive side and celebrate the "Wins!" of helping clients make the best decisions for their health as a result of the 5-star experience and education you provide them.
Who should apply for this job:
    • Someone who is truly passionate about physical therapy and wants to make a real transformation in people's lives

    • Someone who wants to learn and be mentored - we spend dedicated time every week just to practice skills and discuss tough cases -> that means new grads, please apply! You'll learn everything you need to become a world-class therapist
    • Someone who likes the idea of being able to grow and advance within a company - you're getting in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing clinic. The ability to advance and take on leadership positions are endless!
    • Someone who wants a small clinic feel but operates with big business ideas! We may be small be we are MIGHTY. That's actually our secret weapon. Full-time positions come with full benefits, paid time off, and plenty of opportunity for continuing education - just without the burn-out and corporate red-tape.
    • Someone who enjoys having an office pup around... we have a very friendly, super-awesome office dog that is with us any day that the owner is in the clinic.
    What we're looking for:
    • A full or part-time personal trainer or physical therapist assistant who has Pilates experience (not required) to join our growing, hard-working, and family-like team.
    • The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of outpatient job experience, be highly motivated, and ready to soak up information.
    • Someone who is upbeat, friendly and who truly loves people. Our practice model is based first and fore-most on providing a world-class client experience that is 5 stars and gets people to rave about us to their friends and family.
    • Someone who knows how to quickly build trust and is motivated to form long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • If you're a new grad - we welcome your application - you will get unbelievable amounts of training and mentorship so that not only will you succeed in this setting, but you will surpass your peers working in "traditional" environments. But please only apply if you're truly serious about becoming a world-class therapist in a non-traditional setting. Being Growth Oriented is one of our core values and we take it very seriously.
