Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy jobs in Oklahoma
Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Responsibilities
This is a PART TIME Position
- Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.
- Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.
- Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym area tidy.
- Assures supplies in treatment area.
- Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree tract preferred or background in health/wellness or personal training.
