Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Part time physical therapy aide needed for a private, outpatient physical therapy clinic in South San Jose/Almaden Valley. We are looking for someone who is friendly and motivated, with good written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to manage time efficiently and multi-task. Must have completed some health science classes and have good knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but not required.
