GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The Chief of Surgery Services, a registered professional healthcare leader, assumes full accountability for the 24-hour operations of Surgical Services. This pivotal role involves directing staff selection and executing the service structure, while maintaining a patient-centric culture within the organization. Responsibilities encompass a range of facets within the patient care environment, focusing on upholding clinical standards of care and ensuring adequate staffing resources to deliver top-quality patient care. Furthermore, active participation in committees, workgroups, and meetings is vital, with organizational leadership directed towards aligning services with the Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan.

Developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards of care.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
