Position: Powerhouse Technician

Description:

Our Award Winning Client is seeking a dedicated Powerhouse Technician to join their team. This is a full-time onsite position with paid relocation available. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair various equipment within the powerhouse, including steam boilers, air compressors, electrical equipment, automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, power generating equipment, and pressurized piping systems.
• Conduct chemical tests to ensure proper maintenance of boilers and associated equipment.
• Disassemble complex units to diagnose issues, repair or replace defective parts or wiring, and reassemble equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and pipe fitting machinery to manipulate pipes, including bending, threading, and cutting.
• Troubleshoot powerhouse equipment to identify and resolve issues with both analog and digital control systems.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and follow electrical and plumbing diagrams.
• Input and adjust time schedule data using the energy management system.
• Install and maintain high-pressure steam stations, including steam lines, traps, strainers, regulators, valves, and insulation.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Powerhouse Technician.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Certifications:

• Boiler
• Generator
