Our Social Work team at Kendal-Crosslands Communities is expanding! This position, focusing primarily on residents living in the Independent Living component of our continuum of care, provides opportunities to build caring relationship with residents over extended periods of time.
Requirements include a Master’s degree in Social Work and current license as a Clinical Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years experience in a geriatric setting. Interviewing skills, assessment expertise and a focus on developing and attaining short-term treatment goals for depression, anxiety and issues surrounding grief and loss are essential. Strong collaboration with the medical team and families is also key to success. Medicare billing experience is a plus.
