Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Admissions will assist in the admissions process, arrange for visits and tours of the Boise location, develop new recruiting initiatives, and advise prospective and current students. The Assistant Director of Admissions will create programming, resources, and strategic initiatives to recruit underrepresented student populations. The Assistant Director of Admissions will be assigned other projects by the Assistant Dean and will participate in the administrative and planning work of the College of Law Admissions Office.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- J.D. degree.
- Experience in admissions in a higher education environment, preferably at a law school.
- Experience advising students in a higher education setting, preferably at a law school.
- Experience working with the UNITE admissions program and/or other CRM tools.
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email software, and centralized computer information systems.
- Experience overseeing and maintaining a budget.
- Experience with marketing and social media communication.
- Effective verbal and written communication, public relations, and organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and conduct strategic planning.
