Summary:

• Professionally and effectively manage, support, and train the admission and marketing teams of each facility. Develop market strategies specific to each facility and assist teams with obtaining goals. Interact with team members to ensure processes and smooth transitions regarding admissions. Supervises: Admissions Director, Admissions Coordinator, Hospital Liaison/Marketer.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in a hospital or skilled nursing-related setting within the Admission and Marketing Departments.

• Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work amicably with the interdisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of computer platforms and health insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance regulations.

• Possess aggressive sales acumen, customer service, and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while adhering to company policies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintains bed census and payor mix goals for each facility.

• Ensures teams are following policies and procedures.

• Supports teams to review and coordinate complex referrals, and financial protocols.

• Ensures coverages are in place for each team and schedule is maintained.

• Reviews metrics and marketing strategies specific to each facility goal.

• Ensures sufficient marketing and advertising to each facility goal.

• Develop good working relationships with all referral sources to include hospitals, social service agencies, and private insurance companies.

• Willingness to travel.
