Education Requirement of the Admission Director
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
College degree preferred
Experience of the Admission Director
Two (2) years prior admissions experience in health care facilities preferred. Ability to type is required.
Specific Requirements of the Admission Director
Knowledgeable in Medicare requirements and insurance providers i.e. HMO rules, Medicare rules, RUGS II & III, and Medicare prescription plans.
Be knowledgeable in the use of computers (Excel, Word, and Access), data input, retrieval and output functions, etc.
