Reporting to the director of admissions, the assistant director position plays a key role in the development of the annual Master of Science in Digital Marketing (MSDM) admission recruitment plan and implementing strategies and tactics to achieve plan goals.
This role actively recruits new students by conducting outreach by phone, through email campaigns, representing the program at recruitment events, coordinating social media efforts, and engaging current students and alumni. As the assistant director, you will evaluate applications for admission, recommend admission and fellowship decisions to the director, and serve on the admissions committee.
The assistant director will be able to build rapport, have a motivating presence, and have an outgoing and open communication style. They must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with prospective students, team members, faculty, current students, alumni, administrators, and staff; and serve as a liaison between prospective students and the Mendoza College of Business.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree or Bachelors degree (5 years) or advanced certification beyond Bachelors
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
- Experience with public speaking, building rapport, and have the ability to establish trust quickly
- Ability to analyze data and glean insights
- Must be proactive and persistent in approach
Preferred Qualifications:
Admissions-related experience desired
