Associate Bursar has responsibility of one or several aspects of institutional funds. Oversees the operations of student financial services, billing and receivables, and cashiering functions of the university/college. Being an Associate Bursar ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and standard accounting procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Associate Bursar typically reports to Bursar. The Associate Bursar manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Job Description: This position will be in the parcel dept. Assembly, putting items in boxes so they can be shipped out via UPS, Wayfair, etc. This position does not have much movement so you will be standing in the same spot for your shift. Will also be trained on the box making machine during down times. Lifting is up to 50 lbs consistently throughout your shift. This is a fast paced, team work environment.
Qualifications:
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
