Associate Dean of Business assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of business. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Business provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Business typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Business typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • The Project Engineer, Associate provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems.     Responsible for:

    1. Processing submittals.
    2. Processing RFI’s.
    3. Keeping up daily work tickets.
    4. Posting RFI’s and change orders.
    5. Tracking and managing change orders.
    6. Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
    7. Documenting project issues/conditions.
    8. Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
    9. Submitting hours and cost codes.
    10. Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advance
    11. Assists with preparing change orders.
    12. Manage project library.
    13. Participates in KPR (Key Project Review).

    Education

    1. 0 – 2 years of experience with Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program).

    Abilities

    1. Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
    2. Sitting for extended periods of time.
    3. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
    4. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
    5. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
    6. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
    7. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
    8. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
    9. Identify and understand the speech of another person.
