This position qualifies as a senior academic and administrative officer and has substantial independence. The ADCA provides strategic leadership, oversight, and guides the College in the operational aspects of the clinical programs of the College. The Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs carries out the following essential job functions:
Minimum Qualifications:
•DDS/DMD degree from a US or Canadian dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or equivalent training
•Eligible for a South Carolina dental license
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience in managing clinical operations in an academic setting, preferrable a dental school.
Experience with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards and the accreditation process
Experience managing financial processes and budgets.
