Associate Dean of Business jobs in Louisville, KY

This role is responsible for the warehouse activities such as receiving and storing products, pulling orders, assisting with loading, and maintaining a clean warehouse. This function can also consist of assisting field operations with delivery, trash disposal, and installs if needed.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

Receiving, Storage and Reloading:

• Receives product and verifies box counts, packing slip counts and inspects product for freight or any visible damage; documents receipt and any damage on bills of lading, packing slips; follows company procedures for freight claim documentation and process.

• Identifies product received and pulls work/order number ticket as appropriate; matches product received to purchase orders; files purchase orders so they can be pulled as needed

• Communicates product receipt to install/warehouse manager and project management daily; stages and stores product in warehouse, noting location on receiving paperwork; provides tags to all stored product for easy identification

• Handles all product in professional manner, minimizing damage or potential damage by others

• Pulls product and assists loading for all shipments out of warehouse, ensuring that product is protected, and vehicles are properly packed

Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:

• Maintains warehouse in clean, neat, and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc.; ensures building security procedures are adhered to all the time

• Ensures that all product that is palletized is neatly stacked and shrink wrapped for securing and protecting the product/boxes on the pallets; that all box labels are out and visible

• Places product in racks or on floor neatly, safely and organized (like product together; worksurface cantilevers near worksurfaces; etc.); ensures product is stored so pieces do not damage each other, so product can be removed easily and so that box labels are visible from the aisles

Assisting in Field Operations:

• Helps with unloading trucks, using handling equipment in a professional and safe manner, with taking proper care of the products and the client's property.

• Assist with unboxing products and removing packaging keeping razor knife damage to minimum.

• Responsible for removing trash, cardboard and debris from the job site and loading back on the delivery truck.

• Helps installers with product assembly if needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
