Associate Dean of Business jobs in Omaha, NE

Midland University seeks an innovative, collaborative, and visionary leader for the Dunklau School of Business. The Dean will direct strategic programmatic growth and maintain high-quality, relentlessly relevant undergraduate and graduate programs.

The Dean of the Dunklau School of Business will:

• Provide vision, strategy, and administration of Dunklau School of Business
• Implement growth strategies for the Dunklau School of Business; achieve aggressive recruiting goals in graduate programs with an eye toward sustainability; support undergraduate admissions team in recruiting efforts
• Lead and cultivate full-time and part-time faculty; foster an engaging teaching environment, and collaborate with partners internally and externally in support of institutional initiatives
• Lead outcomes-based curriculum development to ensure relevancy and fit with market demand; enhance program brand through the spirit of continuous improvement
• Provide input into budget development, administer college budget, provide regular budget analysis to the Chief Academic Officer
• Assist with the discovery and promotion of external stakeholder support for academic initiatives

The Dean is a 12-month administrative position and reports to the Chief Academic Officer. Review of applications will begin immediately and the position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications:

• MBA required; doctorate preferred
• A minimum of three years of effective leadership/administration in an academic setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation
• An ability to interact effectively and work productively, cooperatively, and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups
• Knowledge of emerging practices and trends in business education
• Ability to maximize capacity in existing programs and develop new academic opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to build strong networks
• Experience with leading continuous improvement
• Passion for meeting ambitious goals
