Associate Dean of Continuing Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of continuing education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Continuing Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. ● Must be available on set program days, Monday -Thursday 3 pm - 5 pm & 8 am -5 pm on Friday and Summer camp days (8 weeks - June - August) Winter Day camp (8am- 5pm for 8 full days
December) Spring Day camp (8am-5pm for 5 full days- April)
● Must have a high school diploma or be working towards BS or BA in Early Childhood Education.
● Ability to work in a high-paced environment with continual distractions
● Flexible, self-starter, dynamic
● Strong ability to create and follow systems and procedures
● Be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
● Be able to endure weather able to provide own transportation to the program site
● Enjoy working with children and youth.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
▪ Facilitate and assist with a variety of whole group and small group educational, enrichment and recreational programs and activities for students
▪ Assist with program administrative duties such as attendance, snack distribution, and dismissal
▪ Act as a role model and mentor to children
▪ Supervise children in groups and individually
▪ Be actively engaged with students at all times
▪ Assist with special events
▪ Other related duties as assigned
Pay: $14-$16/hour

Shift: Part time/after school, 20-30 hours/week, summer, winter, and spring camp
