Associate Dean of Engineering assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of engineering. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Engineering provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Engineering typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Engineering typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. We have an Associate Mechanical Engineer position available in our Loveland, CO location. This position is responsible for mechanical engineering project requirements involving hydraulic power units, hydraulic/electric/pneumatic valve actuation, and hydraulic protection system design; design for manufacturing; 2D CAD drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical/hydraulic assemblies and systems; analysis and technical specification of system components and sub-assemblies; system assembly and fabrication; shop/factory testing; site installation and check-out support; commissioning; and field service of mechanical systems on industrial turbomachinery.
