Ultium Cells is a joint venture Lithium-Ion Automotive Battery Cell Manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest Battery Cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion.  It will be among the largest Battery Cell Manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.

Position Name:

• Engineering Associate - L&S Team

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing manuals for Alarm and Process Down (Updating and Translating) 
• Conducting technical interpretations during night shifts within the process
• Conducting on-site 3R 6S inspections and overseeing attachment management
• Providing interpretation services within L&S operations 
• Understanding of logistics between NND-L&S and L&S-package: Intermediate or higher
• Proficiency in utilizing GMES for smooth education and feedback: Intermediate or higher
• Minimum 1 year of work experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Understanding of L&S Processes preferred 
• Process Down Issue Taking such as Jamming or Eliminating Quality Troubles on Product  
• Familiarity with L&S Equipment desirable 
• Proficiency in English: Upper Intermediate or higher preferred
• Proficiency in Korean: Upper Intermediate or higher preferred
• Escalating logistical issues to relevant personnel and providing technical interpretation services when needed
