Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Deli associates report directly to the Executive Chef/General Manager.
We are looking for an experienced Deli Associate to join our team! You will be preparing and assembling a variety of dishes for Deli guests to enjoy.
Responsible for daily prep for salad, sandwich line, and the chef case. You will also be executing breakfast and lunch service. Deli Associates are customer facing and need to bring a positive attitude to work each day. Associates are responsible for restocking grab-n-go items in display case while ensuring all product is rotated by date. Associate must have a sense of time management and work well in a team setting.
Responsibilities
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Prepare and assemble food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
Qualification
• Previous experience as a deli employee preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8 hours
