Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Range:
Career Path I: $40,000 - $61,000
Career Path II: $41,500 - $80,500

Retirement:
As a contract teacher, this position will automatically be enrolled in the Teacher Retirement Fund (TRF) through the state of Indiana, which includes a defined benefit (Pension) as well as an Annuity Savings Account (ASA). In addition, this position is eligible to enroll in a 401(a) retirement investment plan, a 403(b) Match Program, and a tax-free post-retirement medical expense account (VEBA).
Additional Benefits:

These are no-cost health clinics that provide primary care treatment, generic prescription medications (at no cost), physicals, health screenings, and labs. Accumulated sick leave days and personal business days will be provided under this position as well. Additionally, EVSC employees have access to EVSC Wee Care, our employee-only early learning centers. Wee Care provides a quality early learning experience for children as young as six weeks through age five.
