Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. The Senior Accountant ensures that the Company, including its multiple affiliated entities, has accurate and timely accounting and financial information with which to inform management decisions and to file taxes, among other tasks. These responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Comply with all applicable government regulations and Company policies and procedures, including sanitation, security, workplace safety, confidentiality, and seed-to-sale software requirements, among others.
Conduct yourself in a manner that exhibits and spreads key corporate values, such as being “start-up ready”, proactive, resourceful, candid, persistent and analytically rigorous.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills, will be proficient in MS Excel, QuickBooks Online, and other tools to expedite collaboration and workflows, and will have the ability and desire to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry.
