Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Summary: The position of Fine & Performing Arts Coordinator is done for the purpose of overseeing the day to day operations of the Reynolds High School Fine & Performing Arts Center to include daily administrative support functions; overall production coordination for auditorium productions and art productions to include scheduling, organizing, and coordination of exhibits, and overseeing student workers; maintenance of equipment including ensuring safety requirements are met; and serving as a liaison to staff, parents, students, and outside community groups who use the facility.
