Associate Dean of Graduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of a graduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Graduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     We're on the lookout for a dynamic Director to lead our After School Program for the 2024-25 school year at Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH. As the Director, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.


    JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

    PAY: $17.00


    JOB CONSISTS OF:

    • Guiding Compliance: Ensure that both staff and program adhere to state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the rules set by our host school.
    • Bringing the Fun: Direct engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Plus, don't forget about homework completion – you'll be the ultimate homework hero!
    • Managing Like a Boss: Take charge of essential management tasks, including maintaining accurate attendance and registration records, and ensuring proper staffing levels to keep the program running smoothly.
    • Keeping Everyone in the Loop: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Brightwheel App.
    • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, ensuring they're up to speed on daily occurrences and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner. By working together as a cohesive team, we'll provide the highest quality of care, foster a positive working environment, and proactively tackle any challenges that come our way.

    Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    To be qualified as a director, a person must possess either:

    (1) Be at least 21 years of age;

    (2) Have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC);

    (3) Have 3 credits in management or supervision, awarded by an accredited college or university, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management position in lieu of the 3 credits in management and supervision, or a written plan for completion of 3 credits in management or supervision from an accredited college or university;

    (4) Have a minimum of 1500 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program or public or private elementary school;

    (5) Have one of the following:

    1. A minimum of an associate’s degree awarded by an accredited college in related coursework;
    2. An additional 3000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program or in a public or private elementary school and documentation of a non-expired child development associates (CDA) in center-based programs awarded by the council for professional recognition;
    3. Current certification in early childhood, elementary, or special education by the department of education;
    4. Certification in a teacher preparation program accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) in infant and toddler, early childhood or elementary I, together with 60 credits, awarded by an accredited college or university; or
    5. Documentation of 60 credits, of which at least 24 shall be in related coursework, including at least 3 credits in each of the following core knowledge areas:
    • Children with special needs;
    • Child growth and development; and
    • Curriculum for early childhood education; and

    (6) Be on file with the department as a center director working in that position on or before November 6, 2017.
