Being an Associate Dean of Graduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. General Description/Position Summary:
The Community Programs Associate will be the point of contact for the St. Louis Area Foodbank's direct neighbor distribution programs, Food on the Move (FOTM) and Pop-Up Food Fairs. Food on the Move and Pop-Up Food Fairs are programs that provide equitable access to nutritious foods by providing various styles of distributions (client choice and drive through model) throughout our 26-county region. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Equitable Access Supervisor and other distribution programs as needed. The Community Programs Associate will engage with the community, run food distributions, support our volunteer workforce, provide an excellent neighbor experience, and expand initiatives centered on equitable access to food. Candidates should be comfortable working in various socio-economic areas and have a passion for supporting community members to have reliable access to food and other resources.
