Associate Dean of Humanities assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of humanities. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Humanities provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Humanities typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Humanities typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Primary Position Function/Summary
The Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Office for Student Conflict Resolution (OSCR) is a full time academic professional staff member reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor/Dean of Student Support and Advocacy (Dean of Students). The Associate Dean of Students/Director's principal responsibilities include day-to-day direction and leadership for OSCR, including the student conduct system and alternative conflict resolution services.

This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 1/3/2023. Salary for this position starts at $90,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
