Associate Dean of Law assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of law. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Law provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Law typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Law typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Associate Dean of Law typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Established law firm seeks an experienced residential real estate paralegal. The right candidate will be highly organized, proficient in Qualia, and experienced in handling residential real estate closings from start to finish. Applicants must submit an up to date resume and cover letter detailing interest in the position. Compensation will be based on experience and is negotiable. Main office is located in Pawleys Island and finding someone willing to work in that office is preferred, but we have a satellite office in Myrtle Beach where our current real estate paralegal has been working and that would be available.
