Associate Dean of Law jobs in Santa Rosa, CA
Associate Dean of Law assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of law. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Law provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Law typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Law typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Associate Dean of Law typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Busy Santa Rosa based estate planner looking for a part-time of-counsel estate planning attorney to take on significant overflow of prospective clients. This may be a good fit for an attorney who is relatively new to estate planning law or already has an established practice of their own.
Responsibilities would include intake and meetings with clients, discussing estate planning wishes, drafting estate planning documents, and implementing estate plans, as well as significant trust administration and probate possibilities.
The attorney would work remotely, at home or at their office, as needed, but conference room space is available for meetings with clients.
Some experience in estate planning is required, but training is available and would be provided as well; where you graduated from law school is not important -- are you empathetic, personable, honest, and have great attention to detail? If so, please get in touch with me.
