Job Title: Law Associate and Legal Marketing Specialist

Seeking a generalist lawyer with the ability to handle a variety of nonprofit and small business legal issues, who is also passionate about enhancing the visibility and reputation of law firm. We are a growing socially minded law firm desiring to increase our justice mission impact. This position combines legal knowledge with marketing acumen to drive business growth, attract clients, and strengthen our brand presence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about both law and marketing, capable of translating complex legal concepts into compelling content, and adept at devising strategic marketing campaigns.

Legal Responsibilities

· Provide legal advice relating to general corporate matters to nonprofits and small businesses

· Advise clients on a range of tax, finance, governance, and other compliance matters related to both domestic and international operations

· Research and provide legal advice on domestic and international income tax matters

· Review, negotiate and draft a variety of contracts and other agreements

· Assist with legal research and writing as needed

Marketing Responsibilities

· Develop engaging legal content for various digital platforms to attract potential clients

· Attend industry events, conferences and networking functions to build relationships and promote our services

· Develop branding strategies that differentiate us from competitors

· Nurture existing client relationships through targeted communications

· Conduct market research to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth

Education

· J.D. from an accredited law school and a strong academic record

· Must be currently admitted to and maintain the license to practice law in one or more states in the United States.

Required Skills

· Minimum of 4-6 years of experience at a law firm or in-house at a corporation or public charity

· Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations

· Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple demands at the same time.

· Pragmatic approach to problem solving and strong flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently but with the judgment to know when to seek guidance

· Able to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of clients

· Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically

· A demonstrated commitment to nonprofits is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
