Associate Dean of Medicine assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of medicine. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Medicine provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Medicine typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Medicine typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. About the Role
This is a unique clinical environment caring for patients in the Bonneville County Jail.
Responsibilities include assessments of inmates, medication administration, wound care, and more.
You will coordinate with jail staff and Ivy providers to assess, plan, and provide quality care to inmates. Our nurses have broad and vital responsibilities, and as such must have a high degree of clinical discernment, organizational skills, punctuality, and professionalism.
A positive attitude and a team spirit are an absolute must.
