Associate Dean of Medicine assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of medicine. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Medicine provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Medicine typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Medicine typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Unit Associate, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in cooperation with all the patient care team members, provides a variety of nutritional, clinical, and transportation services and activities to promote patient comfort and satisfaction. Contributes to a positive work environment as an active team member committed to learning and skill development. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory supply and stocking units according to established procedures and standards, transporting patients and equipment, delivering records and specimens, and assisting nursing and medical personnel in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities.
Shift: Full-time position (40 hours), evening shift- (3:00 pm -11:30 pm). Every other weekend and every other holiday.
