Associate Dean of Medicine assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of medicine. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Medicine provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Medicine typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Medicine typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Description
Our laboratory at the Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a postdoctoral experimental biologist to join our interdisciplinary team studying urogenital diseases and cancer. Our team combines experimentation and computational analyses to advance precision medicine. We attack important and challenging problems by integrating data from human specimens, cell lines, organoids, patient-derived xenograft models, and murine genetic models. Our lab collaborates extensively with other basic/translational scientists and computational biologists locally, nationally, and internationally.
We are also heavily involved in multiple large-scale NIH consortia, including GUDMAP, HTAN, SenNet, PDXNet, and CPTAC, where we use multi-omics (including single cell and spatial omics) and imaging technologies (including CODEX and 3D imaging) to study disease pathogenesis and treatment, as well as building reference databases and atlases.
