Associate Dean of Medicine jobs in Salisbury, NC
Associate Dean of Medicine assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of medicine. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Medicine provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Medicine typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Medicine typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely and efficiently load rolls on the machine per roll handling procedures.
• Keep glue application and all machine settings adjusted as needed.
• Assist with filling out safety, quality, and production sheets to be turned in every shift.
• Assist stacker with keeping pallets caught up.
• Keep a clean and safe work area.
• Completely clean work area at the end of each shift.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Safety training a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Ability to read and write English is required.
• Ability to read a ruler is required.
• Heavy repetitive lifting for up to 10 hour shift.
• Good coordination to hang large rolls on the machine using Big Joe walk behind movers.
• Forklift experience would be a plus for pulling pallets of paper rolls from the warehouse.
• Clear communication.
• Good teamwork .
• Be willing to work 5 to 6 days a week as needed.
