Associate Dean of Nursing jobs in Boca Raton, FL

Location: Main Campus, West Palm Beach

SUMMARY: Supports the Dean of the School of Nursing and other staff members as required. Serves as liaison between the School of Nursing and other PBA Departments.

Responsibilities:

Support to the Dean

• Responsible for the Dean’s calendar
• Answers phone calls and takes messages.
• Prepares agendas and meeting packets.
• Drafts email copy.
• Takes minutes at faculty meetings.

Support to the Office and Faculty

• Keep copy of Faculty calendars
• Direct students, potential students, parents, and visitors to appointment locations.
• Order classroom and office supplies as required.
• Assist with creating and printing programs, certificates, and awards for commitment, pinning, and hooding ceremonies.
• Issue mileage reimbursements to clinical instructors
• Create and maintain student, clinical instructor, faculty, and advisory contact lists.
• Work with undergraduate nursing coordinator to oversee and train Federal Work Study (FWS) student workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position.
• Must be comfortable working with a very diverse population.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Post high school education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
