Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of an undergraduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Description:
The position of Family Support Specialist is to deliver quality community-based services while utilizing Youth Advocate Programs' mission and core principles. This professional will be available to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as part of an adjusted time schedule. The number of weekly hours of face-to-face intervention assigned to each family will be determined by case complexity and individual needs. It is anticipated the families referred to the program will receive approximately 25 hours of face-to-face intervention weekly.
Support Clinician(s) by participating in in-depth team assessments of families and cooperatively develop individualized service plans. Assist with the innovative coordination and implementation of community-based services while working closely with social agencies, hospitals, clinics, schools, and community resources. Provide counseling, support, advocacy, and service coordination with families working both individually and as part of a team. Report special, unusual, or critical incident reports to clinician(s), update clinician(s) on all client activities and situations. Provide consultation to families and involved professionals. Assist with monthly meetings for all clients and teams. Complete typed and written assessments, closings/aftercare plans, and daily progress notes in addition to weekly billing documents.
