Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of an undergraduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     About Us: Glen Urquhart School (GUS), is an independent, coeducational day school for students in
    Pre-K through grade eight. Located 45 minutes north of Boston in Beverly Farms, GUS was founded in
    1977 with an experiential, place-based philosophy that integrates all subjects and creates
    opportunities for students to be passionate in their pursuit of knowledge.

    The Position: We seek an energetic professional to support the daily operations of the GUS Auxiliary
    Programs as Associate Director of Auxiliary Programs. This position is responsible for assisting the
    Director of Summer and Auxiliary programs with their daily operations including program
    implementation, database management, parent relations, staff recruitment, student and camper
    supervision, community relations, inventory and purchasing. This position is a .875 FTE. During the
    school academic year the hours are approximately Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.,
    transitioning in mid-June through mid-August to 100% FTE week work schedule in line with the
    SUMMER@GUS programs. This position is salaried with benefits.

    Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Input information in the database to support registration for all programs
    • Processing registration for programs, including registration changes and charges
    • Communicate with parents, faculty and staff regarding registration details and pertinent
    program logistics for all auxiliary and summer programs
    • Care for and maintain auxiliary spaces, and property of the program, including ordering and
    organizing of snacks and other supplies
    • Support the Director of Summer Programs and Auxiliary with hiring documentation
    • Support the Aftercare Director by providing supervision of students in the aftercare program,
    Monday through Friday, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
    • Support the school with other duties as needed
