Being an Associate Financial Aid Director maintains records of scholarships, grants, and other monetary assistance. Has knowledge of available private, state, and federal financial aid programs. Additionally, Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Financial Aid Director. The Associate Financial Aid Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at Siena College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to be part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be positive, outgoing, organized and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate will have demonstrated success in organizing and executing concurrent, complex projects in both an independent and team environment.
Essential duties:
Annual Salary: $60,500.00-$63,525.00
A bachelor's degree and strong communication skills are required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment. Must have excellent written and oral presentation skills. Extensive evening/weekend hours and travel are required. Knowledge of Siena and higher ed recruitment is a plus.
