Associate Financial Aid Director assists in the operation of the financial aid program. Instructs students and parents on the application for loans or scholarships. Being an Associate Financial Aid Director maintains records of scholarships, grants, and other monetary assistance. Has knowledge of available private, state, and federal financial aid programs. Additionally, Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Financial Aid Director. The Associate Financial Aid Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Director of Patient Financial Services-(Exempt)
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating hospital-wide business systems to provide all hospital departments with effective charge capture and reimbursement, keeps the facility updated on current healthcare payment trends and reimbursement methodologies, and manages the billing, admitting, collections, and scheduling departments.

Minimum Work Experience:
1. Five years’ experience in hospital business office billing system.
2. Two years’ experience as a manager of a hospital business office.
Minimum Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Development or related field is required. The incumbent Director in the position on or before April 15, 2017 is grandfathered in terms of education and therefore deemed to have met the requirement.
