Associate Financial Aid Director assists in the operation of the financial aid program. Instructs students and parents on the application for loans or scholarships. Being an Associate Financial Aid Director maintains records of scholarships, grants, and other monetary assistance. Has knowledge of available private, state, and federal financial aid programs. Additionally, Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Financial Aid Director. The Associate Financial Aid Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Overview
The Associate Director of Financial Aid plays a key role in supporting Founder’s College students and the overall college’s success. Founder’s College students must have demonstrated financial need to be admitted; thus, supporting the students with the financial aid process and subsequent packaging is essential for student enrollment and retention. The Associate Director is accountable for the day-to-day financial aid operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Butler financial aid processes. Adherence to all policies and regulations is required, along with a commitment to providing exceptional service to students and their families. The Associate Director will work closely with admission, academic affairs, and student success team members to provide holistic student support.
