Being an Associate Financial Aid Director maintains records of scholarships, grants, and other monetary assistance. Has knowledge of available private, state, and federal financial aid programs. Additionally, Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Financial Aid Director. The Associate Financial Aid Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Office of Financial Aid is seeking an Assistant Director (AD) of Financial Aid to support the department in all facets of aid administration and play a significant role in communicating with students, faculty, and staff on a daily basis. The AD for Processing is responsible for planning and organizing the operations of the financial aid office. Their focus is making sure systems are in place to process student financial aid in accordance with federal and state regulations.
