Higher Ground is bringing on a Stocking and Inventory Associate to our Hitchcock, TX location to be a part of the growth of our global operations. In the world of Montessori education physical learning materials are everything, this role plays a critical role in the execution of our mission.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble and disassemble various types of furniture, including cribs, chairs, tables, and shelving units
· Ensure all furniture is assembled to the highest quality standards, in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety regulations
· Pack and unpack trucks with furniture and supplies for delivery to our facilities
· Maintain an organized inventory of furniture, tools, and supplies
· Communicate with facility manager and staff regarding furniture needs
· Follow established safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in furniture assembly and forklift use
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions and diagrams
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
· Ability to lift and move heavy furniture, up to 50 pounds
· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Hourly range is $13-15/hour based on experience
